Blog 1: Bursting the Grape-

Hey Muth Bloggers,

Please read the review of Eden Theatre Company's production of Bursting the Grape. Can you imagine seeing this production ?!

The article is published on a website called Didaskalia.  Didaskalia is a publication about Greek and Roman drama, dance, and music as they are performed today.  It also has a lot of information about ancient Greek and Roman Theatre in the Study Area of the website.

A second great source of information is the Perseus Digital Library of Tufts University.

There are many references in the article to Greek Theatre. Find some idea or word or reference in the Bursting the Grape article to stimulate your curiousity about Greek or Roman Theatre. Next, research this on either Didaskalia or Perseus (or both).  Then....

1. Write a post that includes an observation about Bursting the Grape
  • what made you curious in the article
  • and what you discovered when you researched Didiskalia or Perseus
  • ideally, provide a link to your research source, post a picture or some other addition.
2. As well as your own post, add two comments to one or more of your peer's posts.

  2. It's linked to the words "Bursting the Grape." It's not the actual play, just a review of a play that was done.
